These terms and conditions apply to goods and services supplied to you – including your use of www.ourcookingjourney.com (“our Website”) – by us, Our Cooking Journey and Francesco Mattana, who operate this online cooking school.
Please take a moment to read these Terms & Conditions carefully, and make sure that anyone you book into a cooking class also reads and understands them before requesting our goods or services (such as booking a cooking class or purchasing a voucher). These Terms & Conditions explain your rights and the conditions under which we provide our goods and services. By requesting or using our goods and services, or by otherwise indicating your agreement, you are entering into a contract with us and agreeing to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. We also kindly ask that you carefully review the details of your order and correct any errors before submitting it.
We reserve the right to cancel offers or promotions at any time and they are always subject to availability. If you have any questions, please get in touch with us by email.
Due to the importance of starting and continuing the class on time for all participants, and conducting a detailed health and safety briefing at the beginning of the class, we cannot delay the class for those who arrive after the scheduled start time. No refunds will be given to late arrivals as per our cancellation and rescheduling policy below.
You will follow all our hygiene and safety instructions and procedures. You acknowledge, however, that whilst we will suggest health and safety measures, it is impossible for us to safeguard your health and safety at all times especially in an online class. You understand and agree that you are ultimately responsible for your own health and safety and that there is an element of risk inherent in participating in a cooking class.
You alone are responsible to ensure the ingredients you purchase before an online cooking class are suitable for your own health needs, and safely transported, stored and (if applicable) prepared.
You and your guests may be photographed and/or filmed during your class. We may use your name and any photographs and/or recordings featuring you, and may cut, edit and adapt the same as necessary, in our online cookery school, on our website, on social media channels associated with Francesco Mattana & Our Cooking Journey, or in our marketing and promotions.
Our online cooking classes are for adults only 18+ (15–17 year-olds are welcome with an adult who’s also taking part).
It is your responsibility to pay for and ensure you have the ingredients and equipment required to participate in the online cooking class. We are not liable to provide any refunds, exchanges, reschedule an online class, pay for the cost of ingredients or equipment, or liable in any other way to you if you are unable to fulfil those requirements.
If you book an online cooking class, it is your responsibility to ensure you have the technical capability (such as software and internet speed) to attend that class. We are not liable to provide any refunds, exchanges, reschedule an online class, provide technical support, or liable in any other way to you if you are unable to attend or participate fully in an online cooking class due to any technical issues.
